Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using 8 Hand (the "App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
License to use the App
Jeff Dickerson grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's usage rules. Because the App is distributed through the App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Playing with others
Local-network and online games connect you directly with other players' devices. When you play online through Game Center, other players in your match can see your Game Center display name. Whoever hosts a game sets that table's house rules; the App doesn't referee good sportsmanship, so treat other players the way you'd want to be treated.
You agree not to use the App to cheat, exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage, interfere with other players' matches, or use automated tools (bots, scripts) to play on your behalf.
Your content
The only content you provide is the display name you choose in Settings. You're responsible for what you enter there — don't use a name that's abusive, impersonates someone else, or infringes on someone else's rights.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, particularly for local-network and online play, which depend on your network and Apple's Game Center service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeff Dickerson won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Changes
The App and these Terms may change over time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
